Community News Updates...

WINTER PARKING BAN LIFTED FOR HOLIDAY WEEKEND. Our DPW approved our request to lift the winter parking ban for Thanksgiving. Starting tomorrow night (Wed 11/25) thru Sunday night 11/29 overnight parking is allowed on city streets and you do not need to call in for permission to park. Note this does not include Fremont Street's year round restrictions. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

The City Drop Off Site: 
Please remember while visiting our drop off site to always maintain at least 6 ft. between you and someone else. Due to on-site brush/branch chipping, beginning the week of April 4th the site will ONLY accept branches and brush on Saturdays. Please do not bring them on Tuesday and Thursdays.
Hours of Operation
The Kiel Drop-off Site is located at 414 Eighth Street and is open to residents of Kiel as follows:
April 1- October 31
          Tuesdays & Thursdays: 4-7 pm
          Saturdays: 9 am - 1 pm
Month of November
          Saturdays: 9 am - 1 pm
December - March
          Closed.

Employment

Kiel Ambulance Service - EMS Position (ongoing recruitment):
Works under the direction of the City Fire Department’s EMS Director. The position(s) are part time and hours assigned will reflect part time employment, hourly (nonexempt).
